The Custom series

Yamaha uses ebonite, which is a hard vulcanised rubber, for all of the Custom series mouthpieces in order to give them woody sound characteristics. They also consulted with top musicians when designing these mouthpieces, so they could provide all of those attributes that are most important to playing. The result is a series of mouthpieces with a warm, clear sound, excellent intonation and great playability.
